September is here!

Yay for bargains!  Hopefully you had a chance to snag some good deals at the CCCsale this weekend, and you found our card in the goody bag.  There was a typo on the blog address - fmopstyler.blogspot.com - Woops, its ok we only made 1,000 of them! yikes...  Well hopefully you found our site anyway, or at least looked into MOPS a little more.

We had our first meeting this Monday with a great turn out!  We are so excited for the new year.  On Monday, we custom made our own tumblers, got to know the other moms at our tables, played some fun games, and of course, filled our bellies.  Like Ashlee said, MOPS is a great place to be filled- through bellies, through Christ, encouragement, friendship, and a little bit of time away from our little ones :)

Our next meeting is September 23rd at 9:30, and we'd love to see you there!

Summer Playdate Change

The planned event -Brookshire’s Wildlife Park- is closed on Mondays.  Bummer!  So....we have changed the play date to Pollard Park at 10am.  Its free and there are tables there for picnics.  Anyone interested in MOPS is welcome to come!  Hope to see you there!

Beautiful Mess Magnet Board

 In light of our beautiful mess theme, here's an easy idea for practically any place in your house!  We mounted our up in our playroom/guestroom and I love the blank wall space it takes up!

DIY Oil Drip Pan Magnet Board:

You need (found at Walmart)

1. Oil Drip Pan in automotive section - 11.97
   
2. 3M Command Velcro strips in hardware section - 4.97
3. Magnets 

Make sure your pan isn't bent or dented, take home and clean with Clorox or other disinfecting wipes to clean off (some have greasy film). Follow directions for command strips, (I used 4) and your done!  Let the beautiful mess begin!
